The Volunteer blog is a place for the drivers, riders ,backups and other volunteers who hit the streets of the Little Rock area to share their experiences, feelings and thoughts.
The folks that make up this group of volunteers come from varied backgrounds, religious beliefs, political views, sexual identity, personalities and general views of life. We are a strongly opinionated, sometimes cantankerous motley crew of do-gooders. But we all share a an extreme sense of empathy, love and compassion for our unsheltered friends. The views expressed in these blog posts are the personal views of each writer and do not necessarily reflect the views of this organization, other members of the group or even the views of the writer at a different time in their life.
