Wheels on the Van Go Round and Round

You can't overcome homelessness if you don't survive it first.

One of the biggest parts of our work is our commitment to being relational, not programmatic. With each trip in The Van, we strive to build relationships with the people we serve, meeting them where they are and taking the time to learn their stories, goals, and needs. We provide supplies and support with no questions or expectations, just a desire to help.

Our work is only possible because of the community members and local businesses that provide funding, supplies, and time to support us in what we do. We have never, and will never, take state or federal funds to continue our work as these place restrictions on the work we are able to do. The support of our community ensures we can provide necessities and winter weather shelter without the presence of eligibility requirements.

One-time and monthly donations ensure we have the funds to fuel The Van, maintain our warehouse and shelter, and help supplement necessities that aren't met through in-kind donations. Supplies donated through our drop-off locations, Amazon Wishlist, and supply drives go straight to our warehouse to be sorted, sized, and loaded onto The Van. Our team of volunteer drivers take the community-stocked van around Central Arkansas throughout the week to find anyone and everyone we can who may need supplies.

Everything we do is community-driven and community-focused, and that is something we will never change.
